TPU patch pricing has two components: a one-time steel die cost and a per-piece production cost. Understanding both helps plan first orders.
📌 Steel Die Cost
The die is custom-made from your artwork — a one-off cost ranging by complexity. Once made, the die belongs to your project and is used for all future re-orders.
📌 Minimum Order Quantity
From 500 pieces after the die. Below this the per-piece cost is high due to setup overhead. The economical sweet spot is 1000–10 000 pieces.
📌 Quantity Brackets
- 500 pieces: entry-level, validation orders
- 1000–5000: economical bracket — most volume orders
- 10 000+: bulk pricing, OEM volumes
📌 First-Order Lead Time
Including die manufacture: 12–18 business days. The die manufacture takes ~7 business days; production runs after die approval.
📌 Re-Order Lead Time
Against existing die: 8–12 business days. No die cost on re-orders.
