3D dome labels made from 1st-grade polyurethane (PU) resin — present your logo and brand with stunning visual depth. The self-healing surface maintains first-day brilliance for years.
A sticker is flat. A dome label has a clear polyurethane resin layer poured over the printed graphic, creating a 3D magnification effect plus a hard, scratch-resistant outer skin.
No. We use a 1st-grade UV-stabilised PU formulation. Inferior epoxy resins yellow within months — Bora Ajans never uses epoxy.
Yes. Domes are waterproof, fuel-resistant and remain flexible from -40 °C to +90 °C. They are widely used on automotive emblems and outdoor branding.
Around 8 mm minimum diameter. Below that the dome cannot form properly.
Sample sets are produced in 4–6 business days. Production batches typically ship in 6–12 business days.
What Is a Dome Label? Polyurethane Resin Advantages
A dome label is a printed graphic protected by a clear polyurethane (PU) resin dome. The resin magnifies underlying detail, gives a true 3D appearance and forms a tough, self-healing outer skin.
1st-Grade PU vs Cheap Epoxy
Cheap producers pour epoxy resin — which yellows under UV and becomes brittle within months. Bora Ajans uses only 1st-grade two-component PU resin with UV stabilisers, retaining clarity for years.
Why Brands Choose Dome Labels
Premium tactile feel
Outdoor durability without fading
Self-healing surface against light scratches
Photographic-quality printing under the dome
Use Cases
Automotive emblems, motorcycle tank badges, appliance logos, sports merchandise, marine plaques and corporate giveaways. Maximum size around 200 mm; minimum around 8 mm.
Dome Label (Dome Sticker) — Complete Guide to Polyurethane Resin Production
A dome label (also called dome sticker, 3D sticker or PU-resin sticker) is a printed graphic protected by a clear polyurethane resin dome. The resin magnifies underlying detail and creates a 3D depth effect that flat stickers cannot match. Bora Ajans has been producing dome labels since the early 2000s and uses only 1st-grade two-component PU resin.
Why 1st-Grade PU Resin Matters
The single biggest difference between premium and cheap dome labels is the resin. Cheap producers use epoxy resin which has no UV stabilisers in standard formulations. Within months of outdoor exposure it yellows — a white logo turns cream, then beige, then orange. Brittleness follows: minor flexing produces stress cracks.
1st-grade polyurethane resin is fundamentally different. UV-stable formulation prevents yellowing. The polymer chain has a low glass-transition temperature, giving the surface its self-healing character — light scratches disappear at room temperature without intervention. Mechanical flexibility prevents brittle cracking under impact and flex.

Dome labels are also known as dome label, dome sticker, PU resin badge, 3D label, résine dôme (French), Doming-Etikett (German). Bora Ajans exports under DDU conditions to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France using these international terms.
